We stopped here for a bite before an event nearby and it was really nice! We were shown to our table by a very nice gentleman who sat us in the jungle room (and pointed out the portrait of his dog among the numerous animals on the wall. What a lovely personal touch to have in the dining area! We started with the fried cheese balls, which were just meh. BUT My husband and I got burgers and fries (one a fancy and one non-fancy) and they were both delicious! THE BLUEBERRY PIE WAS THE WINNER OF THE NIGHT. We would go back just for cocktails and thay

Butterjoint is not in downtown Pittsburgh but it is worth coming to the outskirts just try it. We were greeted by a very friendly host, who sat us outside with our dog. He also offered our dog a bowl of water, which I haven't seen at many other restaurants! The waiters were very friendly too and answered our questions. For food, we had the potato pierogis for appetizers. They were excellent and I recommend it. I liked how I asked the waiter to take off the onion off the pierogi and they were accommodating. The burgers were very good too. I had the fancy burger and it was filling. The bar menu is decent and I am sure you will be able to find a beverage on it. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant!!

We had a delicious dinner and was pleasantly surprised. For food we had the Fancy Fried Chicken Sandwich and Crab Cakes. We started off with the Pierogis, & Lumps (rolls)! It was all so good! Service was good and really like our server, Lola. Neat atmosphere offer a separate bar area, indoor dining room, and patio dining. We found street meter parking g so didn't have to use the garage and had secured reservations via open table. Was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but 5 stars for us and was absolutely recommend.

I really like this place for a lot of reasons but also have my critiques... (+) : burgers and sandwiches are so delicious, raclette is yummy, pierogis are worthwhile, drinks are solid. (-) : vibes are just okay, kinda run down decoration and lighting is a bit dark. Desserts (chess pie) are just okay. Other dishes are fine but not super memorable. I think if you go for a burger or sandwich, you'll be satisfied! Otherwise it's more of a 3.5/5 for me :)

The shakshuka is worth the visit- so delicious with loads of peppers and onions in a piping hot cast iron dish. The eggs will set fast so cut into the yolks speedy quick and dip that fresh toasted crumpet into the runny yolk. Pure joy! Brunch burger was excellent as well. I got to finish the husbands final few bites. Now let's talk about the vinegar pie because this is the pie you didn't see coming. Bright and sweet and the crust was on point. Get yourself at least 1 slice to take home if you're too full. You're morning coffee the next day will be super stoked you made this decision

I've been to Butterjoint twice in the last two months, once for a graduation dinner, and the menu was so exciting I had to come back with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. We enjoyed the smoked fish, pierogies withkielbasa, famous big burgers with excellent fries, and a small plate of beans and greens. Can highly recommend the rhubarb Collins cocktail and the shrubs.

We had a lovely dinner at Butterjoint. Service was great. I am going to be craving the Pinky Swear cocktail, it is SO good. Everything was delicious except the mushroom soup which tasted like boiling cubes and water, no depth of flavor. The rest of our order which was great: -pierogies -raclette -smoked bluefish pate -hearty salad with salmon -fancy burger -Jamaican pulled goat

Title: Fantastic Brunch Experience at Butterjoint! Butterjoint has returned with brunch, I must say, it exceeded all expectations. To start, I indulged in their French onion soup, and it was a symphony of flavors. The depth of taste in every spoonful was remarkable. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the brunch burger, and I was blown away. Cooked to perfection, the bacon was crispy, the egg yolk was just right - oozing out in the most satisfying way with every bite. The side of house taters was delightful, though I confess a preference for French fries, which unfortunately aren't available during brunch hours. As if that wasn't enough, I couldn't resist trying their pop tart of the week. While the pastry was a tad flaky, the flavor was divine, and the whipped topping added a lovely touch. Overall, my experience at Butterjoint was nothing short of exceptional. With such delicious offerings, I'm already planning my next visit to explore more of their enticing menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable brunch experien
